Day 2
After our tim sum breakfast, we headed our way to Shen Zhen.
At the Shen Zhen immigration, although many of the counter was open, it was moving like a snail. The officers there were like taking their own time checking the particulars on the immigration card. It took quite a while before all 38 of us cross the immigration.
After our lunch we set off to the China South International Industrial Material City (华南国际工业原料城）, our next company visit.
The city was built there because it is located at a strategic location where land, sea and air transportation are provided for easy transporting of goods. Such a big city, only 70% of the shops are for rental and 30% are sold and that was how the company earns it revenue from. Therefore they are trying to attract more investors, locally and overseas, to rent a unit there to boast up their revenue. How did they do it? They provide a lot of benefits like giving free rental for first 2 years for new investors. They put up advertisments in HK and China. They provide catalogue to customers and also hold exhibition for interested investor to know more about the city and products.

After a short briefing about the overview of the whole material city, we went to explore the whole city in a tram.
The whole city is divided into 5 diffferent trade centre namely,
- Textile and clothing material Trade Centre
- Leather and accessories Trade Centre
- Metals, chemical and plastics material Trade Centre
- Printing ,Paper products and packaging material Trade Centre
- Electronics Accessories Trade Centre
After the tour we proceed to the conference room where we watch a video and had Q and A session.
